70 Years of Porsche
To promote the 70 years of Porsche being in Australia, the visual was to have a range of Porsches from their very first arrival being the 1951 Porsche 356 to the latest model, the 2021 Porsche Taycan.
Challenge
The range of cars were to be presented in front of an iconic Australia backdrop, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House were referenced.
The 2 vintage cars referenced had to be exact to the 2 models that first arrived in Australia in 1951, both these cars were located in Victoria. This would have meant transport of these vintage cars, both valued at over $500,000 AUD, this would have been stressful for all parties especially
the owner!
Including the Taycan and 911, there would have been over $1.5 million worth of cars for this execution.
Solution
I presented a solution of using a photography backplate combined with CGI cars. I had 2 custom 3D models built for the 2 vintage Porsches, the 911 and Taycan were sourced from a 3rd party provider. Backplate was sourced from Australian backplates specialist Bearstock.
Results
All elements were textured, lit, rendered and combined with the backplates, turned around in 2 weeks and came in well within the client budget of $40k.
EXECUTION
Used across all media from Outdoor, online and all socials.
